Nadler: Trump ‘Committed Impeachable Offenses’ that ‘Threaten the Survival of Democracy Itself’
Breitbart ^ | 12/04/2019 | Ian Hanchett

While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) stated that President Trump’s actions meet the three-part test for impeachment that Nadler talked about in the past and argued that President Trump’s actions “threaten the survival of democracy itself and the integrity of free elections.”

Nadler said, “[T]his situation meets all three tests. The president committed impeachable offenses. They were important impeachable offenses. They go to the heart of our constitutional republic. They threaten the survival of democracy itself and the integrity of free elections. And the majority of the people, and of the House, I believe, understand that. Those are the three tests.”

So no worries as mob rule is dear to the heart of Democrats. Now if Trump was a threat to our Republic I’d be a mite more concerned.

A lot of people agree with you. The unintended consequences of impeachment will be on their heads. It ain’t going to be pretty.

BTW, I’m not so sure that a march on Versailles on the Potomac is the thing to do. Think Bonus March. Better to stay OUTSIDE the city limits, so they can’t call out the military.

Also, If you’re counting on any portion of the military to help us, read the history of the Bonus March. They fired on American citizens without batting an eye.

I kept hearing today about how impressive the Stanford professor was. On the train across from me 2 women were chatting - they thing that this will throw the election to Warren - and thats all they care about.

Don’t waste too much of your time listening to the ramblings of ignoramuses.

Well, that’s fine, but we need something that even while it expresses laughter over what is said, also expresses anger, outrage and contempt toward what was said.

This fat a@@@ole couldn't even SPELL "Constitution", let alone set himself up as its defender. He is a foul smelling ooze of utter corruption and filth. He would have served far better as understudy to the star of the move The Blob than polluting the halls of our Congress.

While Nadler’s three part test seems to be a moving target, I don’t see how the test is passed in any one of his different versions.

December 24, 2018, on with Lawrence O’Donnell (5:00):

Number one, do you believe that you have real solid evidence the president is committing impeachable offenses?

Number two, are those offenses of sufficient gravity to justify putting the country through an impeachment process?

And number three, because you don’t want to tear the country apart – you don’t want half the country the next 30 years to say we won the election, you stole it from us. Do you think that the evidence that you have is so sufficiently clear and sufficiently convincing of deeds so clearly impeachable and necessary to impeach, that once you have laid it out, that you believe that once you have laid all that evidence out, an appreciable fraction of the opposition vote base will say they had to do this.

August 5, 2019, with Mike Barnicle on Morning Joe (5:19)

Number one: can you prove the president committed impeachable offenses. Number two: are these serious impeachable offenses. And Number three: do you have the support of the American people. We will hold these hearings, we will get the support of the American people or we won’t. I suspect we will.

(snip)

If the people don’t support it, um, then maybe don’t go to impeachment, because you have to have public support.

December 4, 2019, closing statement at Judicial Committee hearing on impeachment (8:23:40):

Yes, the President has committed an impeachable offense.

Yes, the President’s alleged offenses represent a threat to the constitutional order.

Yes, we should not proceed unless some of the citizens who have supported the President in the last election are willing to come with us. A majority of this country is clearly prepared to impeach and remove President Trump.

".... I am seriously angry at the flat-out lying, greed and corruption that abounds...."

This has been going on in Washington DC for decades. It's been a well-kept secret among the politicians as they settle into their plush offices to make their fortunes off of the taxpayers' dimes.

But do you know what has changed?

The election of Donald Trump and his propensity for calling out fake news and shining the light on the lying, greedy, corrupt politicians in the Deep State.

It's like your mom telling you as a kid that there were no roaches in her kitchen. But when you'd get up at night to get a drink and turn the light on, the roaches would scurry and scamper for their dark holes. You knew they were there. Your mom even knew they were there. But best to keep that fact out of the family conversations around the dinner table.

Trump has exposed the DC roaches to the light of day and they are trying to turn the lights out on him now with this impeachment sham.
