This is great, it puts Democrats in a box. Either get on with impeachment and punt it over to the Senate, where they lose control of the narrative and a full trial can occur, or they have to abandon the impeachment process entirely.
There is one more option. Censure. If they don’t impeach the Donks will likely pull a last minute “behind closed doors” vote for censure, rather than allowing it to go to the Senate.
As much as I distrust the senate Republicans the fact that this is a fake, politically driven impeachment without a single House Republican voting for it will ensure its dismissal in the senate.
How could any Republican senator vote for such a farce without suffering consequences at the ballot box?

The dems in the House control the timing, not Trump. Pelosi will do what she wants to do and when she wants to do it. Surely, you understand each branch is co-equal and she answers to no one but her voters and the dems in the House.
I'm sure she wants to have more hearings and drag it out into next year with the thought it will hurt Trump or lightning strikes, but I have to assume the dem senators will put the pressure on Pelosi to have a vote sooner than later.
With the number of RINOs in the Senate, I don’t think President Trump is exactly safe over there. There are as many RINOdimocrats there as the COMMIEdimocrats.
