A man was arrested Monday and charged after allegedly vandalizing the historic Sixth and I Synagogue in Washington, D.C., with anti-Semitic graffiti, according to a police report.

Police said Monstinos allegedly carved and drew anti-Semitic “gestures and symbols” at the synagogue, named for its cross-street address, damaging a wood door with a glass window and the concrete steps before fleeing the scene.
Officers found and arrested him Monday afternoon, police said. The man is also facing charges for an outstanding bench warrant from November, according to the police report.
Sixth and I Rabbis Shira Stutman, Aaron Potek and Jesse Paikin notified congregants of the incident in an email Monday that was shared by some congregants on Twitter.
“In these moments, it’s important to remember that it is not a shame but an honor to be a Jew,” they wrote. “It is no small irony that it was our doors, symbols of welcoming and inclusivity, onto which someone spewed hatred and bigotry.”

That might be a clue to stop being so inclusive.
Defacing a synagogue is disgusting. It makes the kids who attend feel like outcasts and that makes me sad.
Also, inclusivity isn’t a word, I dont think, and it’s not a prerequisite of a religion that it be “inclusive”
In fact, it usually won’t be. The Jewish religion shouldn’t be inclusive of Muslims and gays and transgenders etc.
It should include those who believe in the Old Testament.
Welcoming in the enemy NEVER works the way one thinks it will.
