She wouldn’t face a primary until 2026. 7 years. This is pure blackmail by the GOPe. Vote for our RINO or a Democrat, basically.

Why wouldn’t Georgia have a primary before the 2020 and 2022 elections?

“She wouldn’t face a primary until 2026. 7 years.”

She will almost surely face Republicans in the “jungle” special election in 2010 and, if victorious, Republican challengers in the 2022 primary. It’s what Republicans in Georgia do. The good news is the Democrat bench in Georgia is weak. Abrams is jockeying for the VP slot on the ballot in 2020.

False

She has to stand for election next fall. She can still face one, or several, Republican challengers as well as Democrats. She will serve until Jan 2021 unless she wins re-election in Nov 2020

Basically GA special elections are a “jungle primary” where everyone will be on the ballot. If no one gets more then 50%, the 2 highest vote getters face a run off.

You can bet the Democrats Big dollar Donor base will be funding a fake “grass roots” Republican no one has ever hear of against her to try and split the GOP base.

They try this tactic every time here in GA.

That is incorrect. The 2020 special election is to complete the remainder of Isakson's unfinished term, and will be followed by a regular election in 2022 for the seat's next full 6-year term. Two expensive US Senate elections in two years. If necessary, Kelly Loeffler could self-fund both.
