When I was a kid my next-door neighbor, a gas station mechanic who was working the late shift, was killed by an armed robber. The customer who was also there at the time was unarmed.

He left behind a wife and four kids. They really struggled from then on. I really wish in hindsight that his customer had also been armed.

If this had been in NY, MA, NJ, DE, etc. the customer would be jailed on a $1,000,000 bond and facing murder charges, gun charges with mandatory minimum sentences, etc.

Hello 911....a gas station robber who held up the attendant just fell over and died....so sad!
