Gohmert was getting up from his chair and said to someone beside him (didn’t see or remember who it was), “same old thing.” As they were met outside by reporters, a few had some words to say. I didn’t hear/see all of them but Collins had a lot to say and stepped aside for the gal from AZ and as they were all walking away, Gohmert walked up to the mic and said, “This is the reason why “Mamas don’t let their babies grow up to go to Stanford Law School.” That may not be precise but I was scrambling to find a piece of paper and laughing at his remarks.
