Moving federal agencies to the heartland would get struggling states hooked on big government

Theyd quit first. And frankly thats a win for us all.

I actually believe that’s a primary reason for moving them. Lot’s of barriers to removing Obama hold overs but move them out of the swamp and they are either too snobbish to go to the heartland or they don’t want to be disconnected from DC graft/power chains. Brilliant move.
This will end up like Colorado. The leftists will infect the new host state. Just because the WSJ doesn’t like something doesn’t make it a good idea.
Exactly. Certainly, there are risks that they could drag the swamp with them, but said risks pale in comparison to the advantages of thinning the herd enthralled by the DC beltway.
The tune and lyrics for the song “Rocky Top” immediately comes to mind.
The various departments should be moved to climate zones that have average winters under 10 degrees or summers over 110.
Yeah, that won’t cost but a few hundred billion or so.
Not true. As usual the WSJ states stupid things
WSJ is worthless with their paywall.
“I think ALL Federal Agencies should be based in US Territories, NOT States. Puerto Rico and Guam sound nice to me.”
I think ALL Federal Employees should be replaced with illegal immigrants.
