“Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson underwent a successful kidney transplant surgery Wednesday, officials at Rush University Medical Center said.
Johnson, who received a kidney from his 25-year-old son Daniel, is in fair condition, officials said in a news release. Johnson’s vital signs are stable, and he is comfortable and conscious. Daniel, who underwent a simultaneous surgery, is in good condition as well, officials said.”

They were saying on Chicago radio that he was on camera having drinks with a women that was not his wife. Left, and was later found passed out in his car. The Chi police responded. Eddie partially rolled down his window and flashed his badge. He was allowed to then drive home. The lieutenant on the scene ordered all body cams turned off.
