The Rats are desperate for a candidate who hasn’t shown his/her hand that they are a raving left wing looney.
But the sledgehammer to the face which that brings them is that if they come out of their convention with a candidate who didn’t even compete in the primaries after sabotaging Bernie in 2016 then the Berniebots will run Bernie or some other socialist third party...and they just might get as many or more votes in the general election as the actual nominee.
