I’m unsure why/how you are making a connection of the Islamic theocracy of government via the Koran to the first Christians. I was not making or implying of that. The first Christians were expecting Jesus to return shortly, thus they (some) sold their goods, etc.
Also the argument that first Christians were socialists is ill founded, for the reasons you stated.
The apostle Paul speaks of him earning his own way by making tents as he spread the gospel.
I am certainly NOT giving any credence to Islam OR the Koran. I simply used the example in Acts, “And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.”
It was NOT a form of government, it was a group of believers caring for one another in time of need.
