The primary way of laundering money in DC is through the family like Reid did. Make you family get into a business like Real Estate and sell properties way over market price or way under which looks legitimate. Pelosi has been doing it for decades.
A country like Ukraine does it with businesses or govt contracts and put family members on a board where they do no work and pay them an inflated wage.
More sophisticated laundering is through a fund like the Clinton Foundation where the key officers get huge salaries and benefits.
