A popular saying amongst boomers in the late ‘60s & early ‘70’s was “never trust anyone over 30”. Boy, that came back to bite us boomers in the butt. I wonder what youngsters will be saying about Millenials, in about 40 years. It’s hard to believe now; but, people used to respect their elders.
Yes, but now we have massive numbers of entitled elderly behaving badly. Elders of the past werent nearly as bad, so they could be respected. Not so much now.
Example:
Elderly Boomers: Refuse to learn how to use email or messaging services despite having worked in a world that has had it for 30+ years in common usage. Trivializes and belittles anyone who does, claiming that they should write a letter.
Also Elderly Boomers: Wonder why nobody under 50 ever communicates with them any more.
That said, I do know several older Boomers that communicate electronically just fine - but even they complain about their cohort peers that dont.
Distrust everyone under sixty.

Let’s not insult the boomers.
Boomers are those born between 1946 to 1964.
Joe Biden was born in 1942,
A popular saying amongst boomers in the late 60s & early 70s was never trust anyone over 30.
It was more of a thing that was supposed to have been said, but never really was and too stupid to be believed.
Ha ha....I think about that every time I hear "ok Boomer".
Pretty funny that the fact that we all age never really occurred to those folks!
I'm Gen X, so I'll just sit in the corner eating popcorn and making snide comments. :)
