A former Republican Congressman claims House GOP members are 'absolutely disgusted and exhausted' by President Donald Trump's behavior, but are reluctant to speak out for fear of angering the party's base.
Dent, who served as Pennsylvania's 15th congressional district from 2005 until 2018, has now registered as a lobbyist and works as a political commentator for CNN, where he made the sensational claims on Friday.
'They can be more concerned about their election, or their legacies. And I would argue to many of them: your legacy is more important than the next election.'
Dent claims he would likely vote in favor of impeaching the president given what he has heard so far.

All you have to know is that Dent works for CNN. To me that means Dent has no integrity or judgement.
He is working to please the corrupt and communist CNN organization focused on pure hate for President Trump.

Political commentator on CNN is a redundant phrase. CNN is nothing but political commentary. There is no hard news.
The great thing is since they mentioned lobbyist & CNN commentator early in the piece, there’s no reason to read anymore. Saves me time.

I believe that at least half the members of both houses of Congress, were they to be properly examined, would be clinically diagnosed as sociopaths or psychopaths. Note that I said “at least”.

He is essentially the true Republican Party in Washington. They hold Trump in contempt and their own voters/base. They are like Conservative Inc. which Trump has exposed for the frauds they are. They are big government Bush Republicans. They are conservative in name only for election purposes.
They don’t realize yet at this late point unless they offer and actually promote and enact conservative positions that they will be destroyed when Trump leaves the scene. The base no longer wants proposals, theory’s or promises from them, they want results. I predict in 2024 they trot out another Little Jebbie candidate and mirror images for Congress and they get their asses handed to them. The conservative base will no longer vote for the (R) candidates just because of that (R) in front of their names. We will be accused by many even here on FR of being purists and disloyal despite the treasonous back stabbing behavior by the Bush Republicans and those, even on FR who live and worship a political party that holds them in utter contempt.
