What the hell does that even mean?
Probably nothing more than appealing to abortion rights (planned parenthood) in the vein of Susan Collins, et al.
THW Kemp, I hope Collins prevails to retain this seat—and Purdue is reelected as well.
Alas, can’t we take any southern state for granted any longer???
Clarification:
Of course, I meant that I hope Georgia’s Doug Collins prevails.
Taking *any* state for granted is f**king stupid and lazy. Doing so almost cost Ted Cruz his seat in a state that went overwhelmingly Republican at the state level.
Taking things for granted is what loses Republicans seats especially now that Boomers are aging out of the voting pool. Subsequent generations are less inclined to just pull the “All one party” label and more inclined to toss politicians who appear to be taking them for granted, peeing on their heads and telling them it’s raining.
I am afraid the answer is no. The GOP's southern strategy of Nixon is drowning in a sea of demographic changes.
A lot of people who are not lower income women forget/don’t know that 97% of what Planned Parenthood spends is on things like breast cancer screening that have nothing to do with unborn babies.
