Sherman was one of the first who actually stated he wanted ALL journalists dead because they were the 5th column reporting on their every movements in the press..

he was way ahead of his time.

Should leaders of the 8th Air Force been hanged as war criminals for bombing Germany? How about the bombing of Japan?

Sherman wanted the war to end rather than drag on. Making Georgia squeal and depriving the Confederacy of what GA contributed to its war effort helped do it. But I do understand why there are no statues of him in the state.
