I visited the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller Alberta. The museum has the largest collection of dinosaur fossils extant. It is located in an area with lots and lots of sites.

I was standing there viewing the imposing triceratops skeleton when a white haired man came up and stood beside me.

He said I guess to me, there was no one else there,....... “I can’t imagine hunting one of those with just a spear”

So, the photo you posted is photoshopped. The spear was removed and a rifle substituted

(thread drift) This is on display in the county office here. It was found in the county in the '50s by an oil crew.

'Dinger', the Colorado Rockies' mascot, is a Triceratops because they found one while excavating to build Coors Field.
