I don’t disagree, but as soon as Trump or Barr get ‘personally’ involved, it opens the door to more ‘obstruction of justice’ BS challenges. Better to correct the system, via putting good subordinates in place, than to get too hands on with any single case.
I think it is psychologically impossible for Trump NOT to get PERSONALLY involved. If he does go down, it will be because he cannot restrain himself and because he believes he is invulnerable and does not need to protect himself.
