They go to the same page. Most of the time, you can ditch everything from the question mark on.(including the question mark) I’m guessing the fbclid is fb aka facebook. It shows politico.com that the link was from facebook and facebook can also track how many clicks it gets on their site. Facebook and other social network sites add that suffix to the url. I always try to get rid of it because it looks nicer/safer and I don’t want facebook to get the link referral. The more link referrals they get, the more they can charge for ads.
