With so many WiFi hotspots including home networks that bypasses 4G, why is 5G so important?
The physics of 5G will limit its market penetration.
Cell tower on every corner. Doesn’t work well inside buildings without repeaters. Weakened by heavy rain and fog.
This is industry push rather than consumer demand. Most people are well satisfied with 4G bandwidth.
I’ve said this before.
5G is for big brother.
More antennas will allow tracking the location of cellphones more closely.
More antennas will increase the number of available communication channels which will allow more little solar powered snooper microphones and cameras to be placed everywhere.
5G will also permit higher transfer rates but aren’t we little guys happy with the performance of our cellphones?

Yes, increasing power for big brother and serious potential health problems for those exposed to the 5g wavelengths. What’s not to love.
