My family and I had a chance to eat at a Chick-Fil-A last weekend. We chose pizza. That would not have happened before last week. Were done with Chick-Betray. Seems pretty hypocritical to me.
You chose NOT to patronize CFA, BECAUSE of a slight shift in their charitable giving.
And yet what about the pizza place you ate at, or ANY OTHER restaurant you go to?
Do you research the giving of EVERY merchant you shop?
Sounds like todays liberals.
Except now its "conservative".
Someone can be conservative and support conservative ideals and policies their entire lives,
but slip in one area and the wailing and gnashing of teeth begins.

I understand your point. But I'm not boycotting Chick-Fil-A. I just always had a certain feeling when I ate there that I was making a statement, however small the statement actually was. The enjoyment I felt made going out the way to eat there worthwhile.
You can call the company's new direction a "slight change" but I don't believe it is. I hope I'm proven wrong. I hope Chick-Fil-A experiences a significant drop in revenues and that other businesses take notice.

Maybe you’re OK with pretend friends, I’ll do truck with any random stranger over a known betrayer.
YMMV.
