It’s my understanding he interviewed with the Prez for AG and/or the Supremes and was turned down.
I was never interested in him in the past, but from what I read he had a fairly abrupt change in his stance on various topics.
I was never one to to think of blackmail as a primary political tool used with a heavy hand in this country, but after seeing people like Sondland, Napolitano, Roberts, Coulter, and others completely and bizarrely begin to take up leftist stances or exhibit very un-conservative behavior, I don’t have much else to make of it.
I can only think someone has the goods on them and has made it known to them.
Somebody either has compromising photos of him with another guy, or like you said, a video tape of him molesting little boys.
The most likely reason is that Trump rejected him for a Supreme Court justice pick.
Shortly after that, he started going negative on Trump on Fox News.
Which tells me, Trump was correct in his assessment to turn down Nappie.
With his petulant, petty attacks on Trump, he doesn't have the maturity or control over his emotions that a Supreme Court Justice requires.
