I think you have this wrong. Remember that Schitt was Plan B, and was only trotted out there to lead the impeachment push AFTER Jerry Nadler made an ass of himself by dragging Mueller to testify before the Judiciary Committee. Mueller's testimony was such a disaster that the Democrats had to start all over again the very next day when Schitt began fabricating a phony case from the President's phone call with the president of the Ukraine.

You make a good point about Nadler screwing things up with the Mueller testimony that failed big time.

I still say Pelosi blundered by giving the job to impeach Trump to Schitt. Historically, the job falls on the Judiciary Committee, not the Intelligence Committee.

So much is written daily on this impeachment mess and so much of it is fake versus real news, it is hard to tell what is what sometimes.
