IMO, wanting (& abetting) a military coup where the military supports the progs is right on the money.
I believe all Chief Gallagher wanted to do was retain his ‘pin’, rank, and retire. No blemish on his record, which I see as a fair thing because the court case failed.
The Navy was basically allowing the admirals to perform another hearing and create some fake hearing...maybe to find some reason to take his rank, or his ‘pin’. The leadership figured that they had this all under control and it was another ‘toy’ to mess with. Sad handling.

Yes but Im on my 42nd year in the military. Chain of command is everything. Even idiots, especially senior officers have got to know, Trumps going to leave a smoking hole where they stood if they cross him.
So Gallagher is being retired, not returning as a SEAL.

I read about Chief Gallagher’s case. He was acquitted of all charges except being in the photo (with other seals-who weren’t punished). They seemed to have it in for him. Chief Gallagher did 8 tours over there.
His letter reads like he is directing most of it to the president he “respected” ie Obama.
It does sound schizo.

It did. It was full of “what we did together, etc” Then basically had a part that accused him of being ethically closer to America’s enemies than to America.
A weird letter. I’m not an expert in geriatric medicine so I can’t really guess why.
