John Ozbilgen, who was considered a person of interest in the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Parze, was found dead in his Freehold home Friday morning. He took his own life.
Ozbilgen, 29, was facing a child pornography charge and had just been released from jail on Tuesday. His family found him in the early morning hours and contacted police.

I wonder if he had the decency to leave a note telling where to find her body.

A bad feeling? Particularly after the suicide the family knows darn well that she's dead. There's also a case in Connecticut where a woman disappeared from a wealthy NYC suburb and her estranged husband was filmed dumping huge bags into dumpsters in the days after she vanished. She's dead too.

And NJ has a little girl missing, apparent stranger abduction, and an older woman missing after a man she had been helping burned down her house.

Though the odds are slim, we are all a blink away from experiencing such horror in our own families.
An ex of my older brother’s that I knew well had been stabbed to death a few years after they broke up.
I was still a kid, maybe 13 and I thought “wow, things like that can happen to people I KNOW”
For some reason I thought that was impossible.
Prayers for all those suffering in that family right now

Personally ‘been there, done that’ with a missing loved one. Took a year for a resolution and the uncertainty was agonizing - I hope Stephanie’s parents find her soon. “Blink of an eye” ..... you’re right about that.

It is strange. My neighbor and childhood babysitter was murdered blocks from my house responding to another sitting job want ad. Also stabbed and then dumped in nearby woods.
My mother claims that I said I saw her ghost in her bedroom window. I don’t recall this but it freaked Dear Mom out.

Interesting story. I take it you were too young to remember telling her?

Slightly different: When I was in Funeral Service, I took a call to pick up a body from the hospital. I recognized the name as someone I went to high school with. Didn't really know her, she ran with a completely different crowd.
On the way to the hospital, I told the other guy, if this is who I think it is, it's going to be someone about my age. Sho nuff, it was her.
She rolled her boyfriend's 300Z, got ejected through the T-top. Internal injuries. Only thing external was a scrape on her elbow.
She was 19, as was I at the time. Just a weird thing.

The news isn’t indicating that he left a note with any helpful info; they seem to be searching large areas, so I doubt he gave a clue.

19 is YOUNG.
Young to die and young to find out someone your age died.
Basically all internal injuries. What a horror.

Too bad he didn’t expire before he most likely killed the woman.
On the up side, that’s one sicko monster who won’t ever roam the streets again.

Prayers to the missing women’s family! Prayers also to the ex boyfriend family, too. Both families deserve the prayers...
