I ran a weeklong summer adventure camp last year for about 120 boys. We burned through 18,000 .22 rounds and about 1500 12 gauge shells.
We had about 20 firearms and a dozen bows, plus six throwing tomahawks.
Yep, an arsenal

How does one explain “8-foot-by-8-foot bunker - which was also 20-feet-long”?

Unless it already existed and he just took it over, that’s a lot of soil to hide, and wood to haul in to stabilize the ceiling and walls.

Just another “notch” in a local yokel sheriff’s belt; a resume enhancer for the DA.

They saving that list of “weapons” for a later indictment, when the sawed-off shotgun charge is pled-down.

So everyone's all busy making fun of his wimpy 'arsenal', but I'm still confused by this part:
After entering the 8-foot-by-8-foot bunker - which was also 20-feet-long
If the bunker was 8'x8', then how was it possibly also 20 feet long? Did the author possibly mean the room was actually 8x20 feet, and had 8' ceilings?
To: carriage_hill
LOL. That’s mighty slim Pickin’s. My Dad had 3 times that amount in every room in his house. And all the guns were loaded and chambered.
To: Svartalfiar
Probably 8ft high x 8ft wide and 20ft long/deep?

“Arsenal” is severely overused these days, methinks.

Ha. Overused-yes. My Dad hunted everything that there was a season for and had several guns for each one. Fishing, gig a frog, whatever—he did it. LOL
