At 8:15pm last evening Washington Post journalist Devlin Barrett posted a supportive article for the CNN (Manu Raju) news exclusive that outlined an “FBI Official” who was under criminal investigation as an outcome of the inspector general review of FISA.
The original WaPo article by Devlin Barrett noted the FBI official was actually a “line-level” lawyer who worked “under FBI Agent Peter Strzok.”
At 12:15am, the WaPo article was significantly edited, two more journalists (Ellen Nakashima and Matt Zapotosky) were added to the byline. Unfortunately, no explanation or notation of the changes were given....... If you have followed the case closely, the intentional removal of Peter Strzok in combination with the explanation of the lawyer’s FISA responsibilities; and in combination with prior reporting of FBI lawyer 2; it seems pretty obvious the line-level lawyer was Kevin Clinesmith.

Right and lots of folks don’t know that there is more than Horowitz out there investigating this. He is not the last word and has a shadow should he not follow the law and try to cover things up.
Remember with all military operations their is redundancy. They never allow for single points of failure.

We all make errors. I had Moore winning AL, had the Rs holding the House in 2018.
Sundance had Trump with 70+m popular vote in 2016, had Sessions resigning “in the next 24 hours” . . . in 2017.
But he was the only one to point out the rules changes in the House committee on impeachment that prevented the Rs from calling their own witnesses.
Yeah but now the GOP found their loop hole to get witnesses. Bottom line is that this is not politics but a military operation. The military holds all the power in this situation and will not be stumped by legal stumbling blocks. The nation is in peril and will take ruthless action if required. This is not election dependent.
