I have believed from the beginning that this frantic impeachment is due to Ginsberg’s terminal health condition/or retirement. I believe, possibly successfully, the Democrats will argue that a President under articles of impeachment can not nominate a Supreme Court Justice. In August it was announced that Ginsberg had pancreatic cancer, within several weeks the mysterious whistleblower was born.
