I’m surprised they did. But mu guess is they are just trying to get ahead of it before they start offering excuses for whomever is under investigation at the FBI.
Yeah, the mass media does not want this to be a surprise to everyone on Dec. 9.
And if my thoughts are correct, Trump has let this sit juuuuust until before Dem primaries start. Could you imagine if the Senate has the impeachment hearings over a few months while calling only the Bidens, Devon Archer, etc., keeping Dem Senators off the campaign trail for months so Biden wins all the first primaries? Then the impeachment trial ends, the Dem senators go back, win a few states, leading to a massively confusing brokered convention?
I can only dream.
