At least the NFL stopped the kneel downs at the playing of the National Anthem. Gillette suffered serious financial setbacks and buried their male bashing campaign. Target alone didn’t back down. None of these firms were built on promotion of a Christian friendly, family oriented company.
I am not as enthusiastic a boycotter as many on FR seem to be. If I really needed something at Target, I'd probably hold my nose and go there. However, since their bathroom BS started, I have not needed to go there. I did completely drop Gillette and the NFL. I found that once I changed razors and blades that I liked my new ones better; and after I stopped watching football, I found I didn't miss it.
I don't eat fast food, so I can't claim that I will stop going to CFA. I doubt they will lose many customers over this. However, I think they will lose those customers who went out of their way to support CFA because they admired their Christian philosophy. If those customers like some other junk food more, they'll probably get what they like instead of CFA. I hear the Popeye's sandwich is better if one is up to braving the gunfire to get one.
There is always the chance that CFA may rectify this. I saw that Franklin Graham came out in support of them today.
In the old days, The National Anthem was broadcast and televised LIVE before all
major sporting events.
Two or 3 minutes is too much time for the sellers of advertisement to honor the
country and all those who sacrificed thereby allowing them the opportunity
to make endless millions?
