I hear that they’re opening one in a city closer that’s on the way to my parents’ place. I might actually get to sample them in the coming months. An assortment of local joints here are going to be hard to beat. In my parents’ town there’s a locally-owned place which makes all their burgers out of grass-fed beef and has fries almost identical to Five Guys. Fantastic food! The bar within a stone’s throw of my place is hard to beat. There’s a great local joint around the corner from my work and a pub which knocks everything on their menu out of the park a mere mile from work. When I want a burger, each has their merits.

I don’t understand the hype about In & Out but I’ll be able to say I’ve tried it soon.

I was mistaken, btw: To go to I&O currently it’s a 3 1/2 hour drive. Might as well be in Indy.

“I don’t understand the hype about In & Out”

Ditto. We ate there when we lived in CA, and In ‘n’ Out is practically a cult. Their burgers are OK, but nothing special.

As far as Chick-fil-a goes, it’s just OK, too. The only thing I really LIKE-like is their frozen slushy coffee drink.

Well; at least you ain’t gonna be waiting for the bozo in front of you to decide which kind of food to eat!

ALL of the others just HAD to jump on the bandwagon of expanded menus and trying to be everything to everyone.
