Sean Davis, co-founder of The Federalist, joined “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Wednesday to recap another day of House Democrats playacting at their partisan, anti-Trump impeachment hearings.
“I think we learned that the Democrats are quite convinced they need to keep going with this Watergate cosplay in Washington,” Davis said. “We learned no new facts. We heard the same stuff we’ve heard over and over again. We saw the same playacting.”
Davis said the only thing he has learned from the House Intelligence Committee’s theater is how committed Democrats are to the farce of impeachment they have been pursuing for three years.

I saw them trying to include Pence as much as possible, just the way they took out Nixon and Agnew in tandem. Only difference was they had already approved their favorite Republican, Gerald Ford to be vice president. They want Batshit Nancy.
Every time I hear any references to Watergate unironically, I just roll my eyes and say “whatever, boomer”, which is the few times the phrase it actually justified.
Watergate, whatever you think of it, was actually done halfway seriously, by mostly mature and competent people, over a real issue.
Now ever 65+ year old talking head tries to shoehorn-in dusty references to people that were barely known to people in the 90s.
Because the jury was composed of his political allies from the equestrian order (ordo equites), he used the commission to convict and exile people who did not agree with him politically.
This commission was called, in English, the "Varian Commission".
Since the house impeachment committee is set up for the exact same reason, I propose it be renamed the "Shiffian Commission".
Have the Dems offered Trump a deal yet , stop Barr and they’ll stop their Fake impeachment
If Trump thinks the Fake Impeachment is actually helping him, why make the deal?
