Fiona Hill, former National Security Council senior director for Europe and Russia, will testify before the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday, Nov. 21, in the impeachment probe into President Donald Trump. Hill told lawmakers in closed-door testimony last month that then-national security adviser John Bolton expressed concerns that the Trump administration was trying to pressure Ukrainian officials. The focus of the impeachment inquiry is a July 25 phone call in which Trump asked Ukraine's president to investigate 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden.

They did ask Bolton to come, he said they would need to subpoena and maybe not even then.
IIRC Schitt said it would take too long to go to court to get him to come.

Yea Schiff is the most unfair committee chair I can remember. He basically allows long opening statements in the morning. Makes his fairy tale opening. Then the Dems get their 45 minutes. This sets the narrative for the media to run with what Schiff thinks is most damaging to Trump. Then they break, so Schiffy can run outside and do a press conference. This takes up the morning, which again sets the media for all the noon broadcasts.
