Dems finally got something they can use for impeachment
NY Post ^ | November 20 2019 | Michael Goodwin

Years ago, a friend in the public relations business shared with me his approach to dealing with journalists. “You don’t have to give them what they want,” he said confidently. “Just give them something they can use.”

The trick-of-the-trade insight came back as I watched Rep. Adam Schiff savor Wednesday’s hearing. Ambassador Gordon Sondland’s testimony didn’t give Schiff everything he wanted, but did give him something he can use.

“The veneer has been torn away,” Schiff crowed to reporters during a break. Later, he added: “This is a seminal moment in our investigation.”

I don’t believe that the assumption that because Slow Creepy Uncle Joe is running for President he can’t be investigated is true.

Show me the law.

The dims have had an investigation running on Trump since the day he came down the escalator and declared.

The great thing about this very expensive goofiness is the way it has pulled Republican voters together. This time around, President Trump can count on at somewhere in the neighborhood of 90% of registered Republicans turning out for him. We’ll crawl over cut glass.

And because Trump is Trump, there will be a *lot* of protection around this election that you won’t see or even know about. (Yeah, it’ll be the Russian mafia).

The other bright spot is that ScatFranNan’s imbeciles have left themselves with absolutely nothing to run on. There will be no impeachment and removal. America doesn’t want that. They love the economy. Dems have gotten *nothing* done.

What is the dem record on which they will run? I’ll wait.

The President, otoh, can rattle off a list of accomplishments for at least an hour.

The Fox News daytime crowd were out in force yesterday crowing about how damaging this was to trump. Carl Rove saying the Republican senators would be marching up to the White House to tell Trump to resign. All this before the afternoon cross examination by Republicans on the committee even started.

"Just remember folks, humans used to routinely use warfare (i.e. Killing and breaking things) to settle political disputes. As ugly and stupid as this is, it could be much worse."

It needs to be much worse. Schiff and the rest of the coup plotters need to face justice. If the US government cannot or will not do it, then it is time to have a time of great tribulation and see who comes out the other side.

I have wondered for months why Barr didn’t appoint a special prosecutor (”SP”) for the quid-pro-quo-red-eye-gaffe-prone Joe Biden-Ukrainian affair. This would have shielded POTUS and helped the country immensely. In addition boxed in fanatically demokraps who couldn’t interfere in an ongoing investigation and who would be forced to now attack the “out of control” office of the SP that they sanctimoniously defended for the past 2 yrs during their Mueller hoax). POTUS would be free, hands off - let the cards fall where they may except he would not criticize the SP, and remind everyione that he agrees with Peloser w/ regards that no one is above the law ... not even Joe Biden.

The glitch in your scenario (IMO) is Pelosi and the DNC have no say in what the President of Ukraine does or doesn’t do. If Trump wants him to investigate he will because as Sondland testified yesterday, Zelinski loves Trump. I’m pretty sure it is being done now because the Bidens really did extort over $13 million from the Ukranian people.

In the end, I think we find out this was another Brennan/CIA Op. The CIA was running goofballs like Vindman at the Administration with words and ideas that seem impeachable like QPQ, conditions on the aid, “what do you want for a meeting”, etc. They were trying to bait Trump into creating evidence for his own impeachment.

Why do I think that? Think about the quote from Sondland that Trump read. Sondland said Trump was in a bad mood and said: “I want nothing. I want nothing. No quid pro quo. Tell Zelensky to do the right thing. Tell him to do what he ran on.”

1) Trump was likely grouchy because he was tired of their running dirt at him. May have even tipped Trump off. Maybe Trump enhanced the bait or fed them a Barium meal. He did warn them they would regret going down this road.
2) Why would Trump use their words? Like quid pro quo. I’ve never heard him say that before. Strongly suggests he was repeating their words back to them to me.
3) Zelensky ran on ending corruption. That’s all Trump wanted.
4) Some guys like Morrison were completely cut out of the loop. Why? Known loyal to Trump?

Bingo. I thought the same thing.

These ‘enemy agents’ in the Whitehouse are Crossfire Hurricane operatives looking for a way to entrap the President in some illegal action.

>> But the essential purpose of this fiasco is stop the Ukrainians from investigating the Biden’s.

Too late apparently. While not directly named in the indictment, it’s clear this would likely have significant blowback for Hunter and Joe.

Joe Biden’s son and his partners received $16.5 million from Burisma — Ukrainian MP
https://tass.com/world/1090971

KIEV, November 20. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Office of the Prosecutor General has drawn up an indictment against the owner of the Burisma Holdings energy company, ex-Ecology Minister Nikolai Zlochevsky, that contains information that the son of former US Vice President Joe Biden, Hunter, as a Burisma board member along with his partners received $16.5 million for their services, Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada MP from the ruling Servant of the People party Alexander Dubinsky told a press conference on Wednesday, citing the investigation’s materials. According to him, the money came from duplicitous criminal activity.

“Zlochevsky was charged with this new accusation by the Office of the Prosecutor General but the press ignored it,” the MP said. “It was issued on November 14.”

The U.S. press is ignoring this as well. Of course.

Another foreign source on this:

Biden, partners receive $16.5 mln in payments stolen from Ukraine – MP Derkach

An important document in this would be the formal treaty:

TREATY WITH UKRAINE ON MUTUAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE IN CRIMINAL MATTERS

Thanks Billy Jeff!

It will be interesting to see this play out.

Not over yet. They must have a dozen hystericals on tap, ready to be called (and paid) to testify that Trump pinched them on the a$$ in 1987.

The dems know that “impeachment” ain’t going nowhere. All this is about the election. They’re showing the testimony now on TV, and it doesn’t cost them anything. Later, during the election campaign, they will refer back to the testimony.

Once in a while Schiff’s right eye wanders toward his nose. I wonder if that’s a nervous reaction to something being said.

I was channel surfing and saw Schifface over the top with tingles down his leg and quickly hit the remote. Guessing that’s what his cringly tingles were about.

Yep, a dog and pony show in which only the left side of town is allowed to show off their prize dogs and ponies, while the right side of town is expected to show up and watch but not participate.

Pretty sure we all know how that will work out.
