Gonna get some snow next week, huh? ‘Bout time you got to join the rest of us in the “fun”. LOL! It was a dusting but we got our first hit last week.

Did you get a little rain from the system moving this way from TX? There was some on the radar headed your way when I turn the computer off to go to bed.
The rain can’t get here soon enough. Two wildfires in two days in the area. We are dry.
Yikes! I hate to hear that y’all have wildfires in your area. Last time that happened, Gatlinburg burned down! Hope you get the rain you need to keep them away.
We didn’t get a DROP of rain. It got cloudy but then the sun came out and it warmed up. There were supposed to be several days of rain chances, but now they are gone. Pooh!
Good evening, radu...my deck is devoid of even a flake of snow. It is dry! All 9” are melted away. It’s 45 right now at my house and it started raining on the way home. *sigh*
The fire yesterday didn’t get too big, fortunately. It was a grassfire at the farm next to ours and we figured a lit cigarette that was tossed might have started it.
But the one today was in a wooded area and that one looked pretty big based on the smoke I saw.
Both fires on the back road between here and Tullahoma, about the same time of day, makes me suspicious now.
Not sure how much rain we’ll get here. They changed the forecast tonight and now we’ll have less rain than they’d been predicting the past few days. It’s going to stay north of us ad we MIGHT get a dose as the tail end of the system comes through Friday night.
It sounds like your luck stinks as much as ours does.
I could see there wasn’t much snow on the ground around the airport today. Mainly just the piles where they’d plowed it were what’s left.
I hope your temps stay above freezing overnight so the wet streets don’t glaze over!

Those fires sound too close for comfort. They do sound suspicious since they started at the same time If it was arson, I hope they catch the creep doing it before it gets dangerous.
It’s a wonder there haven’t been wildfires in WY. It is soooo dry and dead looking there now in the grasslands, and it hasn’t started snowing much yet. Every day I expect to see smoke on the ‘cams.
Yep...we both have lousy luck when it comes to rain chances. Grr!
Yep, too close. The grassfire was just a quarter mile from us and the larger one about 3 miles.
It looks similar here to WY and I’m surprised there haven’t been more fires. Way too dry. I don’t dare burn trash for that reason and the bags are piling up.
Guess I’d better head out and get ready for bed. Early day tomorrow. Republican women’s meeting and the candidate I’m working for will be the guest speaker. Should be a fun meeting.

SW eastern slope of the Rockies in Idaho, we are cooling down and promised snow in the next few days. I doubt it. A cold weather front is moving in, it’s dry, and windy. If we get a little snow, I figure light and dry. Heavy and wet might help if the wind lays down. We will see. Be safe all.
Sure do hope you get some of that rain. Not liking the sound of fires at all, but especially so close.
I’ve been seeing that. My son and his family live in Jackson Hole. They love it, but I imagine that they are ready for some real snow.
I watch webcams from the area and it wouldn’t take much to start a fire. When I flew in last August, we had to stay on the plane because of lightning in the immediate area and there was a big fire that almost took out the Wildlife Museum. You can still see the blackened area on one of the cams.

Hope your cold front brings you the type of snow you need/want. I got 9” last Saturday/Sunday, and today the temps went up to high 40s...not a flake left on my deck. And rain forecast. ICK!!
