CNN was peddling it too.
He was specifically asked who told him, or what piece of direct evidence he had to say Trump demanded quid pro quo, he confessed he had just assumed he did. (assumed is not the actual word he used, but the other world was just another word meaning the same thing)
It was embarrassing, it was so bad.
The ranking minority leader on the panel, just ripped Schiff and up down and sideways. He was just brutal.
The word this witness used was presumed (instead of assumed).
He just made it up.
He’s what CNN refers to as a star witness, and he readily admitted he made up the premise Trump demanded a Quid Pro Quo. Aaaand, he forgot to mention he had a direct talk with Trump and Trump specifically told him he DID NOT want Quid Pro Quo.
