Moments before Wednesday’s impeachment hearings and right after U.S. Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland’s opening statement was released, Fox News contributor Ken Starr wondered aloud whether Sondland flipping on President Trump would cause GOP senators to push Trump to resign. “The real issue is the senators are watching,” Starr said. “Are senators going to now say in light of what we hear today, it’s going to be a long day even with the ambassador alone, in light of what we have heard, ‘We need to make a trip down to the White House’? That historic example set during the Nixon presidency. From what I’ve been able to glean I don’t think that’s going to happen. But obviously what happens today could—has the potential to be a game-changer.

1) The bold/underline is buried deep into the statement, making the headline goofy and dysfunctional.
2) The underlined is also quite true. I think by the end of this session, it might be over - for the Dems. This whole thing is stupid theatrics.

Apparently they are prepared to protect Vindman rather than court marshal him and yesterday I read that one of the SEALS who was pardoned by Trump is now facing some sort of separate military justice.

Sondland is flat out lying and The Swamp is running with it and using Starr as their “GOP” mouthpiece to put out this new narrative. I don’t worry about this crap simply because I know that Trump WILL force a removal vote in the Senate, and the Senators know FULL WELL that if they vote to take down Trump, they go down with him, ALL OF THEM, including those who even vote to keep Trump.
