Is .40 S&W ok? Good old .45? Why 9 mm?

Probably because Joe knows absolutely nothing about firearms.

Maybe because, like the bullets clips used in AR-93s, the bullets used in military sidearms, for the most part, are 9mm thus making them bullets of war? Liblogic.

Biden can only count to as high as he has fingers.
He just forgot about the 10mm

Why 9 mm?

My guess is that, like 5.56 and the AR-15, it’s a relatively small, but widely popular caliber. If they can ban those, then it only makes sense to ban the more powerful cartridges, too.

I went to Walmamt, yesterday, for the first time in about a year. Thare’s still a gaping hole in the ammo case, where 5.56 and 7.62 used to be. On either side were handgun cartridges. Lots and lots of 9mm. I guess the AR-9 isn’t a thing, yet.

If/when/or 9 mm gas operated semi-auto pistols are banned, can revolvers be far behind?

My S&W 357 Magnum is a 6 shot mechanical semi-automatic hand gun, and while it is not quite as fast as a gas operated semi, using auto loaders, I can put plenty of rounds down range and it is quite lethal.
