No one in Nevada knows who he is.
The same holds true in probably 40-45 of the other 49 states. "Coupe" Deval will be dropping out of the race by New Years, but not before he scoops up enough campaign funds to live on for a while.

I would suggest that there’s only three states where Deval Patrick is actually known (NJ, Mass, and NY). Even if you went into Delaware....I suspect fewer than 25-percent of the registered Democrats know anything about the guy. I think he’s doing this strictly to be the VP candidate for either Biden or Warren. He’s been out of the governor job and spotlight for four years now.

Deval must not leave the Massachusetts area very often.
Most people never heard of him even back when he was Governor. He was kind of low profile, and not the type to make news very often. Even fewer know him now, since he’s been out of office for a while. Just another faceless, colorless bureaucrat.
This ‘candidacy’ wasn’t really thought out fully. Mike Bloomberg remains very well known, even though he has not been Mayor for quite a while.
Deval does not leave much of an impression, while Mike is someone you couldn’t forget even if you wanted to.

As for Deval, if anyone thinks they remember him it is the rock group DEVO. Deval, like Schiff, is a legend in his own mind, and a very sick egotistical one at that.

Democrat 2020 POTUS, Candidates, Deval Patrick & Michael Bloomberg are simply joining the list of failed Democrat 2020 POTUS candidate list. They both are going nowhere, just like the rest of the candidates the Democrat Party has brought forth!!! The POTUS debate this evening is both a joke and farce!!!
Not many American voters will be watching this farce on TV screens this evening!!!
Yeah; coming in at the 11th hour like some kind of savior when everyone else battled from the beginning leaves a nasty taste in voter’s mouth’s. Especially when they really don’t bring anything new to the table.

It’s so true. I live in Georgia and am an ex-Mass. native. The only reason I’ve heard of Deval is that New England radio star Howie Carr mentions his name once in a blue moon.
But I think Obama’s poor performance in office salted the fields for any minority Democrat to get elected to the highest office in the land.
He is not in the race as a presidential contender; I suspect he was recently recruited to fill a VP slot for any of the top candidates - to counter Trump’s growing popularity with black voters (especially men). Biden, Warren, Sanders and Buttigieg aren’t connecting to blacks AT ALL.
I agree. Obama picked Deval for VP, but with Deval’s poor support can it happen.

I had read that he’s Skunk Cabbage’s backstop against Biden.
Her plan, for those who spent the past 12 months (really 36 months) on the far side of Mars, is to engineer a split party going into the DNC convention, and then ride her stallion on to the convention floor and SAVE THE CONVENTION by becoming the ‘consensus nominee’...without ever having to run in a single Primary (she hates being forced to campaign).
But that only works if no single candidate can get more than 50% of the delegates in the Primary process. For a while, Biden looked like he had a shot at 50%, but Deval will destroy him in the south, where something like half (maybe more) of the Democrat Primary voters are black - hence keeping the field very level, and very split.
So that’s Deval’s job, which is why Nevada doesn’t even matter to him...and who knows, he could easily be Skunk Cabbage’s running mate.
