On Tuesday November 5 we are going to be at the poll sites showing voters in Philadelphia how to knock Republicans out of city council. Every two years Republicans are handed two seats on city council thanks to a loophole in the city laws but this year we are putting an end to Republicans in Philadelphia. We will be having short conversations with voters at the polls, handing out literature, and posting to social media.
Shifts Tuesday November 5 - 6am to 10 am Tuesday November 5 - 4pm to 8pm
You can work both shifts for a bonus!
Pay - Up to $20/hour!
Base rate is $15/hour with easy to earn bonuses for posting to social media and working both shifts.
Apply - https://forms.gle/KAuGBz79A8GKJ5xJ6
They haven’t woke up after the 2019 VA, KY, and LA results!
So what do they do between 10 and 4?
Philadelphia is a sh#*hole and if they want to g9 further down the drain, let them.
Who do these people think they are, San Franciscans?
“and posting to social media.”
sockpuppets
Thats totally illegal! People cannot be at a polling place trying to influence voters. I plan to sign up to be a poll watcher. I recommend everyone who can, do the same.
The City of Brotherly Hate
Little late. What was the turn out for beatdowns?
i see this sh*t on CL L.A. too.
They apparently knocked off Al Taubenberger, 1 of the 3 remaining Republicans out (1 of the 2 running At-Large) in favor of one of the Stalinist 3rd party “(We ain’t) Working Families” puppets. Because if there’s one thing Philly needs, it’s another Communist on the City Council.
I vowed that if Sam Katz lost the election in 2002 I would move out of the city. During the primary, I was physically pushed out of my polling station because I questioned why a man was sitting behind the voting machines. I was heavily pregnant at the time. Sam lost and we bought a house in the ‘burbs and never looked back. Too bad, because I loved city living.
Good thing that the Liberty Bell was cracked long ago, if not someone in Philly would have stolen it by now.
So it’s like DC, one of the at large seats has to go to a different party? If that’s the case I’m surprised it took them this long to get rid of the Republican via a “third” party.
Isn’t electioneering at the polls illegal?
Philly ping!
$20 an hour? Maybe I can get in on that.
Yup. Only one council district in Philly (like Chicago) is Republican. Other than that, the GOP could only rely on the at-large 2 seat “crumbs” guaranteed by the city. The leftists figured out that the GOP is so weak there that they could run 3rd party candidates identical to the Demonrats and supplant the Republicans as the “minority.” 7,000 votes would’ve knocked off the other Republican, Councilman Oh. Unless something changes, I’ll bet they’ll run him out in 2023 (and find a way to gerrymander that last Republican Council District) and have an all-Stalinist Council.
At some point, might have to demand a different approach, forcing these places to have members of the ideological opposition, since having WF Party is simply just Demonrats as another label, and that violates the spirit of these laws that guarantee representation. I guarantee if the GOP had control of locales where Dems were promised minority party slots and 3rd party Republicans running “Conservative” supplanted them, you’d have judges coming out of the woodwork to put the kibosh on that to demand minority representation.
