Whistleblower lawyer lashes out at Jordan: 'I AM TIRED OF YOU LYING IN A HOUSE COMMITTEE ROOM'
The Hill ^ | 11 19 2019 | John Bowden

Posted on 11/19/2019 11:46:39 AM PST by yesthatjallen

An attorney representing a whistleblower in the intelligence community who filed an inspector general complaint at the center of the impeachment proceedings lashed out at Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on Tuesday, accusing the congressman of lying and spreading conspiracy theories.

Andrew Bakaj tweeted Tuesday that Jordan had lied about who the unnamed whistleblower had contacted before filing a report with the intelligence community's inspector general.

"Congressman @Jim_Jordan - I AM TIRED OF YOU LYING IN A HOUSE COMMITTEE ROOM IN FRONT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. My client hired ME - no one else in leading up to filing the disclosure with the ICIG," Bakaj tweeted, referring to the intelligence community inspector general.

"I have made that clear TIME AND TIME AGAIN - and you ignore the FACTS!" he added.

A second attorney representing the whistleblower, Mark Zaid, added: "Certain Members of Congress continue to lie abt my role in this case & deliberately distort facts to deflect from addressing #WBer complaint."

"They didn't treat me this way when I worked w/them re #Benghazi #WBers. #Shameful," he continued, adding "#FactsMatter."

Ain’t a whistleblower.
This individual is leaker, hellbent on destroying this President, duly elected by the American People.

Ain’t no whistleblower, and damn sure ain’t no patriot. More a treasonous scumbag, in the same mould as Schiff-for-brains, Swallows-well, and Nazi PeLousy.

“Contacted” is not the same thing as “hired”.

Semantics maybe but when it comes down to legalities it is a big thing.

Yup. That's what lawyers DO.

"My client hired ME - no one else in leading up to filing the disclosure with the ICIG"

That lawyer's weasel words don't deny that the "WB" might have contacted others (which was Jordan's claim). He only claims the "WB" hired only Bakaj.   The lawyer has in no way proved Jordan's claim was a lie.

Me thinks Bakaj doth protest too much, and may think he's a good liar when he's not, in fact.

He should stomp his foot; add in some swear words and YELL REALLY LOUD.

Even better, he should say it makes him sad and fearful. That way he can get a standing ovation like the b*tch yesterday.

Why would he go to a lawyer before going to the IG?

This assertion begs the questions: Was the lawyer given classified information? Was it legal to share this information with this lawyer? Did he have a right to know?

As he is not afforded the right to anonymity, contrary to what the Left says.

This is like Nancy Pelosi on Sunday giving President Trump "strict orders" not to intimidate her "anonymous" whistleblower.

And Trump responds by saying, "You mean that scumbag Eric Ciaramella?"

LoL!

Someone needs to bitch slap this attorney and then punch his lights out.

His client is equal to the stuff under Trump’s toenails, and is trying to run foreign policy?

No one notices this?

I think Lt. Col. Liar also claimed to be fearful. I didn’t listen to it, but Twitter leftists were saying they themselves burst into tears when they heard what he said to his father about the need for courage. This thing is apparently a soap opera . . . aimed at the very same audience as the worst of the soaps.

I read somewhere that he’s fond of going to Disney by himself and likes to represent people that were denied security clearances because of child pornography. Go figure.

CNN news can now use this.
"Republicans lie to save their president"

This was was their objective for these hearings from the start.

From what I understand, the whistleblower law is written so that the IG can't reveal his name.

Otherwise, it's open season on using his name in public.
