On whistleblower issue:

Funny no one followed up on this utterance. Even now the media makes no reference to it and the fact that he said it in a triumphant matter. 45 years ago Frank Church went to war against the IC for genuine abuses, but abuses that pale in comparison to those Schumer proclaimed in his statement. That the IC would conduct a coup against a sitting POTUS.
Most conservatives have negative feelings toward Frank Church, I remember him as more than a partisan. He was outraged at the conduct of the IC and Fed LEOs in the 70s. He would IMO be horrified at their lawless activity now, but more so at the way in which his party not only accepts these lawless actions, but aids and celebrates them.
I just looked up at the TV and Vindman looks as though death warmed over him!
