All of Washington DC is worse than Nixon.
Why would Trump resign? Democrats aren’t going to forgive him if he goes home to Mar-a-Largo.
Nixon was forced out because Republicans abandoned him. Trump enjoys 90+ support in his party.
Democrats face an uphill battle to remove him from office.

Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats are trying mightily to paint President Trump as a criminal and a doofus flailing around the Oval Office with no idea how to be president.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Trump is accomplishing things Obama never came close to and doing so in the face of constant betrayals and ‘leaks’ from deep state bureaucrats attempting to thwart his agenda....and ultimately failing.
He is vilified by the corrupt corporate media 24/7 and lied about endlessly just as Nancy Pelosi does in the OP.
Fortunately, the president knows what he is doing and who his enemies are. He also knows that tens of millions of American support him and will give him a second term in 2020.

Donald Trump is “worse” than Richard Nixon? When Nixon was driven from office, it was only because the Republicans became convinced he was a drag on the ticket. From that point on, it became clear that Nixon would be removed from office, with the aid of Republican votes in the Senate. Resignation became the only plausible response.
So far, the prospect that there ever could be a two-thirds vote in the Senate to remove Trump appear to fall between slim chance and no chance at all. The nothingburger “hearsay impeachment” articles would join the dustbin of history of failed political movements, which may or may not tarnish the reputations of a great many Democrats.
If, simultaneously, the Horowitz and AG Barr investigations are published, many of the denizens of the Deep State either go into self-exile, or become subject to some immensely damaging criminal charges.
