This type of ruling is common in cases like this.

This is a very one-sided "harm" scenario that weighs heavily in Trump's favor. The Court is basically saying that Trump will suffer far more harm from having his private records released immediately than Congress would suffer from NOT having access to the tax returns immediately.

This simply means that no tax records will be released until every legal avenue available to President Trump is pursued.

I don’t believe that this is about congress. I think it is about the NY AG. Same difference as far as your explanation goes though.

I say, if SCOTUS directs he must release his tax returns, then Trump should petition to have ALL democrat returns released using the same rational (?) the dems are using to get his return.

Good for the goose is good for the gander.
