An overwhelming 70% of Americans think President Donald Trump’s request to a foreign leader to investigate his political rival, which sits at the heart of the House of Representatives' impeachment inquiry, was wrong, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds.
A slim majority of Americans, 51%, believe Trump’s actions were both wrong and he should be impeached and removed from office. But only 21% of Americans say they are following the hearings very closely.
In addition to the 51%, another 19% think that Trump's actions were wrong, but that he should either be impeached by the House but not removed from office, or be neither impeached by the House nor convicted by the Senate. The survey also finds that 1 in 4 Americans, 25%, think that Trump did nothing wrong.
Still, nearly 1 in 3, 32%, say they made up their minds about impeaching the president before the news broke about Trump’s July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in which Trump urged his Ukrainian counterpart to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.

I always tell pollsters the opposite of what I believe, and I encourage all conservatives to do so as well.
My goal is to further delegitimize opinion research. Why? Because opinion research exists only to support opinion formation. I can form my own opinions, thank you.
ABC is pushing a negative, ;ie infected narrative. Polling can also be used for pushing a narrative by simply framing the questions (s), lying by another name.

Headline should say, Seventy Percent of Democrats Polled Say What Trump Did Was Wrong. Let’s be honest here. The Rats haven’t conducted a legitimate poll in decades.
In addition to asking if the people polled were following the story, maybe they could have asked how many had seen the video of Biden threatening the payment to Ukraine. Very few would be my guess. The propaganda media has carefully kept that expolsive video from exposure.
BINGO, 70% of those following this story which is just 20% does indeed equal a total of 14%. Add to that it is a poll of “adults” and a sample of just over 500 people and this poll is not even worthy of being toilet paper.
All polls should ask and report what people think about polls.

This type of poll--flawed and biased as it is and has to be--is the end goal. Dems run a sham impeachment investigation with limited rebuttal and exculpatory facts denied admission for the precise purpose of influencing public opinion against DJT.

70% of Americans think the President asking about the Biden’s kickback scheme is wrong, but everybody’s OK with a Vice-president’s family getting rich in scam where he funneled $3 billion in foreign aid to the Ukrainians in exchange for kicking back $50K a month to his dopehead son.
Just another loaded poll, “Do you think if the president violated the law with a foreign government that doing so is wrong?”
Only 20% of the public Is following the story? And only 70% have an opinion about Trump’s actions on Ukraine?
That doesn’t even add up to a majority of the population! And the 51% who say they want Trump impeached and removed from are even smaller!
Yes, Americans are clamoring to see Trump gone! Then again according to the Democrat media, we should be seeing them watch the sham impeachment hearing in huge numbers.
The opposite is true, according to Nielsen’s. This is a liars’ poll - conducted naturally by Isos/Reuters.
Its designed to influence public opinion, not to measure it. Geez.
Believable. All Democrats and 1/3 of Republicans who already hate Trump but will vote for him over a Dem. That gets you around 70%. No problem.
This is what happens when the GOP gives the Dems a free hand to gaslight their narrative and pivot at their leisure in any direction. The GOP Senate has made exactly zero effort to gather their own facts and stop this ongoing coup. It should not be a surprise low info types are buying the Dem/MSM propaganda on this.
