So if their apartment building is leveled by a tornado or hurricane, they wouldn’t accept assistance from The Salvation Army or Southern Baptist Relief? They would sit in the street in their skivvies until a LGBTQIA+ supportive agency arrived?
If that happens, I’ll admire their commitment to their principles!
I have tried to make that case with them, that the Salvation Army does not ask nor care about somebody’s sexual orientation if they need help. Does not sway them. You’re either 100% down with the ideology or you’re the enemy.
But, oh, well, no more CFA donations to:
the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for summer youth camps at the Atlanta HBCUs Morehouse College and Spelman College
or the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, which provides Christmas gifts to children in need.
Sorry, needy children. The CFA marketing team has spoken.
