It's looking like the Democrats' narrative of President Trump's handling of foreign aid to Ukraine is the exact opposite of what actually happened.
Former National Security Council official Tim Morrison was deposed in a closed-door session in the House on Saturday. Morrison listened in on Trump's July 25 phone call to Ukraine President Zelenksy from the White House Situation Room.
"I was not concerned that anything illegal was discussed," Morrisson told lawmakers.
Democrats made a big deal about Morrisson's "concern" over the transcript of the call being leaked. But Morrisson said his concerns about the transcript being leaked revolved around the impact the transcript might have on support for foreign aid to Ukraine, as well as how the transcript would play out in Washington's polarized political climate. So Morrison predicted the Democrats would make a nothingburger out of it.
Trump released the memcon of his July 25 phone call back in September. "To the best of my recollection," Morrison told lawmakers, "the Memcon accurately and completely reflects the substance of the call."

Please define “soon”. Dems are going to milk this for a while yet, spinning fabrications and nothing events into crimes of the century. For instance: Schiff will announce, and the media will report that Morrison testified that he was appalled by the gross illegalities that poured from Trump’s mouth, the transcript is fabricated, Zelensky was shocked, etc. It’s easy to find evidence when up is down.

So what makes you think it’ll work this time when their star witnesses failed to land a glove?
Conviction of Trump in the Senate is totally impossible. The Democrat game plan is investigation after investigation up until the election to dirty up Trump.
If I were Trump I would go before the house and lay out everything that has been done to him by, Mueller, Schift, Pelosi, Comey, Brennan, Steele, Fusion GPS, the law firm Perkins Coie that laundered money from the DNC and Hillary’s campaigh that paid for the dirty Steele lying dossier, the hold overs in the Justice Department from the Obama administration and the complicit media.
I would then encourage them to immediately vote for impeachment and have the trial in the Senate where the Republican side can lay out all the facts in that open court. He should also encourage all Republicans to vote for impeachment. The Dems do not really want impeachment. They want death by a thousand cuts via their kangaroo courts in the house. If Trump were impeached tomorrow morning it would be a disaster for the Dems.

Some folks will never figure out that God is in this with Trump. He won’t be touched and neither will his family who will pick up the torch in 2024.
#7. Change the title to “The Red Hunts for November”.
I’d didn’t say anything about it working. I just don’t think they will quit merely because they have no real evidence.
OTOH, it’s being reported that 70% of the electorate believes what Trump (ask for cooperation on investigating corruption) did was “wrong”. The 70% figure could be fake as usual, or it could be that non-stop lies and spin stick in the minds of the ignorant (i.e., the vast majority). That has been the objective all along. The Dems would consider that “working”.
