DACA was a program not supported by law. Even Obama admitted initially that DACA had no legal authority but he forged ahead with it anyway.
President Trump has ended the program which is suspension of deportation of people brought as young children to the United States illegally.
But those that were granted relief from deportation before, they had already applied and will be considered on a case-by-case basis according to the President because it is humane.
The reason that deportation of DACA persons is suspended on a case-by-case basis is because of compassion for a person that was brought here as a child, having gone through the public school system, graduated, is fluent and patriotic, is for all intents and purposes an American, has no ties to where they came from,, and is here through no fault of their own. These people were brought over when the US Govt FAILED to control the border. So it’s not their fault, and we won’t cause more harm than has already been done. That’s the President’s view.
On the other hand, there are DACA persons that have lied and abused the DACA program and only applied through handlers to evade deportation. These people should be deported.
So we say ‘DACA persons’ with the understanding that the DACA program is now dead. President Trump ended it.
So it’s safe to say that Elise is for showing compassion to DACA persons who are for all intents and purposes just like other Americans and who have shown good behavior. But certainly she is not for the DACA ‘Program’ which is now dead and gone.
James Carville and Mary Matalin treated each other with respect and a sense of humor. I’m sorry I don’t see them these days.

I say she DOES get a pass at this point in time. It’s IMPEACHMENT. If it passes in the House — and it will — and then goes to the Senate, the Senators need to be aware of as much info as possible as a foundation for their proceedings. Anything she can point out to take down the RATs in this effort is golden.
After the impeachment crap is over, then we can go back to her failures on other issues.

Tom Shillue does impersonations of Schiff on ‘The Five’ on Fox. I thought no way, can anyone be so ridiculous as Schiff in real life. But watching the Congressional hearings it brings home how close Tom Shillue’s impersonation is! Yes, Schiff is an insane man with staring eyes, haunting eyes that are very strange.
