I can see if you only have a few things.
Right now I’ve never used a self-serve cashier and I’d sure like one time to practice. As it is I worry I will make mistakes, look stupid, be very self-conscious.
And like you said....a few items would work for me.
But once I got to put the things on the conveyor, run them over the register thing, then bag everything and put it in the cart, then use my debit or feed cash into some kind of ATM thing....on and on and on and on....
The ones in my local Walmart are almost always empty, or used by people with a few items.

The mid east is a true cluster.there are so many groups all vying for different interests from Shia to Sunni to Alewaite to oil for weapons to crude oil to smugglers to the CIA just trying to create chaos.
