RIP, this ending should have been for those who falsely accused you and your family
They should end up owning that “college.” RIP.
That is a really nice thought. Now if a deal could be cut to have Hillsdale take over the operations that would be perfect. Only some of the people in the building and maintenance department would not be fired.
We need to do that with practically every institution of higher indoctrination in our country.
I see what you did there. “institution of higher indoctrination”
The man fought the good fight.
And the “tolerant” left will be smirking and celebrating this “much deserved and fitting” end for a man they persecuted.
What that lawsuit about? I may have read about it on FR but jog my memory.

RIP. I thank him and his family for fighting back.
A Gibson employee, a grandson of the owners, pursued a black Oberlin student who stole from Gibson's Bakery. Oberlin slandered Gibson's as racist and was directed by a jury to pay damages of $11 million.
RIP David. You led your family to victory over an oppressor.
F’ cancer.
rest in peace
So are they having parties at Oberlin College to celebrate his death, just as they had parties at universities to celebrate Reagan being shot?
If the family can argue that the stress of the college’s bigotry expedited his death, they may have a claim for even greater damages.
good morning ...
Sorry to hear this. I hope his family fights on for justice.

“institution of higher indoctrination”
I’m going to use that at every opportunity. Thanks.
RIP Mr. Gibson. God bless his family.
