f you thought there werent any major elections until the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 3, guess again. On Saturday, Louisiana will choose between incumbent Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards and Republican businessman Eddie Rispone for governor. And the race down in the Bayou looks increasingly close, so its an open question whether Edwards can once again overcome Louisianas deep red hue to win reelection. Heres where things stand heading into Election Day.

Looks like New Orleans suburbs voted Democrat also. Warning to Trump that he cannot win based on just the rural vote.
...754,978 John Bel Edwards (DEM) 51%
...721,720 “Eddie” Rispone (REP) 49%
1,476,698
3874 of 3934 precincts reporting - 98%
absentee reporting - 63 of 64 parishes

I'd say 80% fraud, 20% stupid electors.
The rats flat got this fraud thing figured out to a very fine degree. I see all sorts of parallels between KY and LA.
The GOP needs to get off their ass and fix this.
No he is not AOC but he votes to screw average citizens every chance he gets. Screw the LA conservatives that did not vote or voted for Edwards. Never want to hear a complaint from any of them. Turnout was not good.
Could you be any more obvious, troll?
1) some attacked me back in October when they thought if you added the two republicans vote totals together you would get the Rispone total tonight..when I explained how and why that was unlikely I was attacked
well I was right now wasn’t I?
2) I posted early in one of the live election threads that we need to watch the Edwards totals in the rural counties and compare that to Oct ...
then later I posted this......
“Not good news .. I am comparing the oct 12th results to what Edwards had in the oct primary to todays results so far in the smaller rural counties ...and he is running 5 to 7 points ahead of his oct numbers”

after I posted that I was attacked
well I was right now wasn’t I?
3) time for simple math and logic
Rispone is up by 12,000 votes and 60 percent of the votes statewide are in but only 25% of Orleans parish is in and Edwards is up by 30,000 votes in that 25% percent ..what so you think is going to happen when Orleans catches up to the state average of 60 percent?
when I pointed that out I was attacked
well I was right now wasn’t I?
New Orleans suburbs aren’t really majority white anymore.
All that changed after Hurricane Katrina.
Edwards is +100,000 votes since last election.
Republican is +150,000 votes since last election.
Secretary of State went Republican by 100,000 MORE votes than Edwards got. 865,000 to 765,000.
Trump wins Louisiana going away. Rispone only won 27% in Jungle Primary. His Republican got 24%. Needed to have ONE better candidate.
Republicans ran strong and dominate the state except for the Governor who governs more like Trump than Pelosi.
Loss sucks. Trump made it competitive.
About 150 precincts outstanding and R is down 30k+
Nice analysis.
Repubs just buried the rest of the state. Kinda like Ky.
Edwards will get his approval rating...53%
Thanks for the info. My condolences to you on this election. At least you don't live in The People's Republik of Connecticut like I do. We're ruled by a bunch of near-communists here. Ugh!
If Rs rab strong in down-ballot races that’s a good thing.
I don’t know your posting history and have probably never interacted with you, but I have been around a long time and even though I rarely post these days I still follow the election threads.
The thing is, conservatives get nothing but negative news from almost everywhere - the mainstream media, academia, the entertainment establishment, etc, etc. It is just non stop. People get tired of it. Sometimes it is just not the right moment to come off as overly negative. There is plenty of time for the election autopsy after the fact. If you want to be a “realist” I understand, but folks are frayed and are already tired of feeling society tearing down everything they believe in.
I’ve been there before. I am about as conservative as it gets but I love to debate/argue. I would often reply to posts I felt were overly conspiratorial or things that seemed “head in the sand” sounding. I think you just gotta be careful doing that. Time and place for everything as they say...
Cheers.
dont wanna alarm anyone....just saw this on LIBERTY DAILY....
he made an odd visit to Walter Reed today...
he did it alone last time with our help...but i agree with your greater point- the GOP has been complete BS since the 2006 midterms...
oh my goodness!! PRAYING for our President right now. He is under such stress. He needs to slow back for a bit and rest.
FOX is calling it for the Dems - upset in the works?
The Associated Press called the race for Edwards, Louisiana’s only Democratic statewide elected official, with 96 percent of precincts reporting and the incumbent leading Rispone by more than 19,300 votes out of more than 1.45 million votes cast.
Good summary... thanks!
Take a look through the concerned ones posting history. There is a pattern of selecting the most negative propaganda and being concerned about it. Of note is the inordinate amount of attention paid to libtards on Twitter.
